The 53rd edition of Social Blend features special guests Kat Smith aka Kat136 and Keith Wagner aka DarkNemesis618.  We take a look at the new features launched at Mixx in the last week, including Share Lists and Increased Kudos!

We also take a glance at Greg’s new Mixx tutorial post, Mixxing 103: How to make a killer Mixx Community; and our community focus this week is the Mixx Podcasting Community.  Following this, we dive into the debate of dealing with trolls and asshats.

Celebrations are abounding as Bush exits the White House and Obama enters as the 44th President of the United States.  We follow up on the story of Little Hitler and siblings; and discuss the miracles that came from the plane crash in the Hudson River.  Jay explores the potential expenses of Virtual Sex, ponders who the hell would want a Snuggie, and discusses how Nancy Pelosi discovered Rick Rolling.

Keith discusses the mysteries surrounding Steve Jobs’ leave of absence from Apple, while Kat decided to bring up the story of the man who shot a toilet!  And then Beetlejuice looked over at the Joker and said, “Greg chose a full moon photo for his submission this week”.  And finally, we pay our respects and tributes to Ricardo Montalban, who sadly passed away last week.  To the last, I will grapple with thee…
