its number is eighty-eight
Come and rise from the dead this week with the Succu Dry on the 88th episode of Social Blend, where we celebrate Halloween, horror movies, and spooky stuff in general. Joining us on our Halloween special is Tom Cheredar aka Tched from GeeksOfDoom.com.
After we accidentally the whole Succu Dry, we jump into our final discussions on the issues surround the recent banning of a top SuperMixxer - Jay and Greg reflect on the issues in their usual blunt fashions. We also discuss the rumors of George Lucas considering a Star Wars sequel trilogy, recently debunked by AICN.
Tom raises the debate and issue of the changing landscape of media within the Digital Revolution of the 21st century, and how poorly the newspapers and other industries are falling behind. The fascism and racism of the British National Party made for big news and intense discussion at Mixx.com this week, so we focus on what the BNP is all about and why it is such a frustration for the UK.
And finally, we mourn and grief the passing of an icon, the end of an era: GeoCities; followed by a brief discussion of the official release of Microsoft Windows 7.
Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from The-TrukstoP.com) and Jay Fowler (SilentJay74 from JuicySnake.com) the Social Blend is a fun, and hard-hitting, podcast, with no respect for rules. We try to make the main focus of the show to be Mixx.com, and other social media sites; but we usually just end up talking about whatever comes to mind!

Listened to your latest revisionist history extravaganza.
Let me appear on the show and correct the record. You asked me to appear a few months ago remember? I’ll set the record squeaky clean and present all documented evidence supporting the facts of the situation surrounding my ban.
RE: Privacy Issues on the Internet: What part of KatharineC “RESEARCHED my identity based on the name of a film title I mentioned.” can your minds not grasp! What part of private group emails were forwarded to Mixx Admin by one of your pals ( and I thought one of mine )…. can you NOT comprehend?
Do you understand this simple concept? How many times must I correct the record? I had a total of 4 timeouts… the 4th one was not a ban because of the new TOS at the time. Mixx chose to do that…because of my positive contributions to Mixx. That’s their decision… not mine. It was nice to do…but as we know lots of people on Mixx have gotten away with breaking the so-called rules haven’t they Greg?
I had 4 and only 4.. There were not ” many many ” Tiime Outs…so please stop with the hyperbole…. It only proves my case further.
Greg: your hypocrisy is amazing…. I had reported you for name calling more times than I can count…and nothing happened.. Recently,. you were put on a 24 hour time out just to save face ( did you and Kerry discuss that this might be a good idea beforehand just to calm things down ? ) but its interesting that Tessy got a 3 day timeout for a similar infraction…. Seem fair to you? NOPE!
RE: Attacking your friends: ummmm hello? They were my friends too or at least i thought they were…funny how they had to go behind my back…( for what reason I still do not know and I doubt anyone will tell me ). What’s that about Greg, Jay? Any ideas? Hmmm I have a few.
Very revealing and very sad.. Now let it go man… Any time my name is mentioned in a negative way on Mixx I will come back.. Simple as that. All you have to do is tell the truth…if that’s not too difficult for you… which it obviously seems to be.
