On the 89th edition of Social Blend, we’re joined by Keith Wagner aka DarkNemesis618, as we discuss recent news about some SuperMixxers in the Mixx Community - both some sad news and some good news. We take a look at what seems to happen to folk singers in Canada, and the new ICANN announcement of allowing URLs that we won’t be able to type.

For our stories of the week, Jay gets disturbed at an aerobics contest on YouTube, and then overjoyed about exploding whales. He also takes a look at some videos related to how unprofessional Fox News has become. Greg takes a look at some images from Russia that look like they’re straight from The Day After Tomorrow – an icy ship graveyard; as well as a follow-up on our Halloween show with a great infographic of the highest grossing horror films of all time.

Keith brings up an intriguing court case where an aluminum baseball bat manufacturer is sued based on a tragic accident. Oh, and in Soviet Russia, you don’t get smashed on vodka, vodka gets smashed on you!

We return to featuring unsigned bands for our weekly music feature; and this week we bring you the ROCK with a group called Emerald City from Perth, Australia. We are hoping to have the band on an upcoming show for an interview. Also, we have a follow-up to our discussion about VioletPlanet, who will be joining us on a forthcoming episode.
