For episode 90 of Social Blend, we mark the occasions of the 234th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps, Veterans’ Day, and Remembrance Day. We pay tribute to the men and women who have served in and are currently serving in the military here in the United States and abroad in allied nations. Our special guest for the first part of the show, Senior Drill Instructor SSGT Michael Nichols USMC joins us and discusses the documentary EARS, OPEN. EYEBALLS, CLICK, that follows twelve weeks of Boot Camp at MCRD San Diego.

Keith Wagner aka DarkNemesis618 joins us for the second part of the show, where we also discuss the recent tragedy in Fort Hood, Texas; paying respect to the fallen and to the families affected by the tragedy, and also looking at the emotional online discussions following the event. In a related tribute to our armed forces, Jay’s video of the week looks at rock legends KISS, who are supporting the Wounded Warrior program here in the United States.

We examine the mystery surrounding Google’s ghost town: Argleton in the UK. Greg then brings up his photo selections for the week, which includes the odd story of a bear going bald. Keith follows up with his fascination for strange litigation stories, where he discovers a robber can sue the store he robbed. All this and more on Social Blend 90…
