Social Blend

Caers Mane aka Arianrhod and Social Blade’s Patrick Parise aka Crackerpat / Jenocide 312 join us as our guests for the 91st edition of Social Blend! We follow the developing story of Anonymous tracking down the Lithuanian responsible for abusing a dog, eerily similar to the way David Motari did last year. Following this, we examine the new web site, Splurb.com, and its potential as a source for submitting content to social news services. We also take a look at Steven Tyler’s off-again / on-again relationship with Aerosmith.

Meanwhile, Rupert Murdoch declares war on the BBC, and the internet in general; and while he has lost his mind, so have (it seems) some Diggers as we examine the controversy surrounding the recent conduct of some participants in the Social Media sphere. Jay also highlights Andrew Zilch’s new Star Wars video, which you can check out below.

Pat brings up a variety of news articles that have popped up in various Social News sites, focusing on some serious crimes around the United States, including the story of the authorities undertaking the search for the missing 5-year-old girl in North Carolina. Arianrhod finds R2-D2 in the new Star Trek DVD, and Greg discusses a man pretending to be a US Marine. We also jump into some Social Media Rage and much more on Social Blend 91…

Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from The-TrukstoP.com) and Jay Fowler (SilentJay74 from JuicySnake.com) the Social Blend is a fun, and hard-hitting, podcast, with no respect for rules. We try to make the main focus of the show to be Mixx.com, and other social media sites; but we usually just end up talking about whatever comes to mind!
