Chris McGill from Mixx.com brings some breaking news to Social Blend 100 with some announcements of upcoming developments at Mixx. We also reflect on the evolution of Mixx and Social Blend over our past 100 shows, after Greg goes on a rant about Lawton Mayor John Purcell and the Oklahoma Ice Storm of 2010.
We also take a look at the iPad, and end up arguing about the tech developments in the e-book reader world, and still unable to determine whether iPad is iWin or iFail. We discuss living in a Google World, and the recent developments in the China vs. Google War. We close out the show with some stories of the week, and a look in the Mixx Lounge.
And yes, SB100 was originally supposed to be live from Mixx… but plans were changed due to inclement weather and work commitments. However, we perservered, and finally got around to recording the episode of Social Blend that God did not want you to hear!
Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from cGt2099.com) and Jay Fowler (SilentJay74 from JuicySnake.com) the Social Blend is a fun, and hard-hitting, podcast, with no respect for rules. We try to make the main focus of the show to be Mixx.com, and other social media sites; but we usually just end up talking about whatever comes to mind!
