Social Blend
We enter a second century of Social Blend with Number 101, and joining us for the occasion is the always brilliant Lee Garnett aka nComment, who gives us an update on the War storyline – and joins us in discussing the ups-and-downs in the evolution of Social Media across the web. We also take a look at the amazing accomplishments that TweetMixx has made in the last few weeks, from the NBA to the NHL to the 2010 Olympics!

Jumping into Twitter, we have a look at Kevin Smith’s war of tweets against Southwest Air, and examine how the mainstream media twisted the story out of context! And by the way, Kevin Smith, if you’re out there – we’d love to have you on the show! Hit us up!

We also swim into the buzz surrounding Google Buzz and how much attention it got this week. And also, while Christopher "Moot" Poole (founder of 4chan) spoke at TED, Anonymous continued their war on Australia; conducting a DoS attack on numerous Aussie government websites with more public protests to follow. We examine all these topics in depth and much more!

Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from cGt2099.com) and Jay Fowler (SilentJay74 from JuicySnake.com) the Social Blend is a fun, and hard-hitting, podcast, with no respect for rules. We try to make the main focus of the show to be Mixx.com, and other social media sites; but we usually just end up talking about whatever comes to mind!
