The Doctor is stranded outside of the TARDIS, and is forced to live on Earth pretending to be human – in an adventure that sees him making a nude scene, headbutting his memories into a human, and playing soccer like a normal bloke (though not all at the same time). On this TARDISblend, we review this eleventh episode of Doctor Who Series Five, entitled The Lodger, and loosely based upon the comic strip with the same title.
During TARDISblend 12, we discuss the light comedy in this episode with particular emphasis on the soccer and headbutt scenes. We also discuss the integration of Perception Filters in the Doctor Who series – and debate its use in this and other Who-related shows. Finally, we have a quick talk about the final two episodes of the season that will make up the series finale.
Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from cGt2099.com) and Tom Cheredar (Tched from GeeksOfDoom.com) TARDISblend is a mini podcast that takes a look at the ongoing adventures of Doctor Who – as Matt Smith makes his journey as the Eleventh Doctor in Series 5!
