Social Blend

Just in time for your Thanksgiving break, it’s the 140th edition of Social Blend. Jay joins us later in the show, and also along for the ride is Tom Cheredar aka Tched from GeeksOfDoom.com and Andrew Zilch. We kick off the show with some Mixx news, congratulating our fellow Mixxer Newaya for reaching the 200,000 karma point mark!!!!!

We also briefly touch on a new post over at The Mixxing Bowl, examining the responsibilities of the Mixx Ambassadors. We highly encourage you to read it, and let us know what your thoughts are on the subject.

In news around the world, we ponder what was going on in Kim "So Ronery" Jong-Il‘s head this morning with the staggering news of North Korea‘s attack on South Korea. Like last week, we also jump into the tomfoolery of the TSA, and discuss the situation – including some of the comic fodder that has come from the mainstream reporting. And in related Government/Big Brother news, we take a look at the revelations that Google and Microsoft have been spying on people for the DEA.

Netflix is raising prices and offering new streaming-only services, and we talk about the implications of the changing entertainment scene. Us old fellas think back to the old "video rental stores" and how much of an endangered species they are now.

All this and more on this week’s edition of Social Blend!

Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from cGt2099.com) and Jay Fowler (SilentJay74 from JuicySnake.com) the Social Blend is a fun, and hard-hitting, podcast, with no respect for rules.
