Social Blend

It’s the 146th edition of Social Blend, and we’re joined by a super special guest: the lovely Erika Napoletano aka RedheadWriting comes in to the show to give Jay and Greg a collective bitch slap! It’s a kick ass show and we kick off talking about Erika’s blog and then the state of social media in general – focusing on those who seem to be doing it right, and those that continue to do it wrong.

We also answer a couple of questions from Mixxers with queries about the upcoming social news feature at MixxingBowl.com; pay tribute to the incredible Gary Moore who sadly passed away this week; and then bitch and moan about the Superbowl – including the travesty that they panned off as a half-time show. Fuck you, Black Eyed Peas, just fuck you.

Also on this show, we have a look at some of the upcoming movies based on comic books, as well as William Shatner’s new metal album (yes, you read that correctly). Additionally, we critique the new design for the Gawker blog network; praise Charlie Sheen for his middle finger to the mainstream media, and discuss Match.com buying out OKcupid.
