Social BlendSocial Blend 151 kicks off with special guests Brian Bickerton aka Tau_Zero, Brian Hill aka Bdog2g2, and Keith Wagner aka DarkNemesis618 who are sitting in for SilentJay74 this week. We smash into this episode looking into a whole range of big news items that have been happening through the week, including Apple‘s initial approval of a “gay cure” app that was met with massive opposition and later removed; as well as the Supermoon over the weekend as well.

We remember Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Gough who both sadly passed away during the last week. Unable to help ourselves, we geek out into comic book movies, and discuss the recent news and developments involving Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, and the horrific Wonder Woman costume design they’re using for the upcoming television show.

Kevin Rose announced he was stepping away from Digg this week, and we look into how this is potentially a good thing for the site, and speculate on where Rose may go from here. This evolves into an argument about Google‘s failure at social media tools – but it’s an entertaining argument believe me.

Inevitably the news of the Libya War entered into our conversation, and we all chime in with our own opinions and thoughts on the conflict. Additionally we cover some other political news, as well as some of the other top stories submitted over at MixxingBowl.com.

Oh, and Keith breathes heavy as well.
