Social BlendSocial Blend is back with our 160th edition of the podcast, and sitting in for SilentJay74 this week are Mark Carras from RockMyMonkey.com and Keith Wagner aka DarkNemesis618. We kick off the show with an unleashing of bile, as we get a lot of stuff off our chest about mainstream media, government and politics, and corporate greed. From the PATRIOT Act to the book “Go The Fuck To Sleep“, we cover pretty much all of the bases!

We also look at the ongoing ridiculousness that is the TSA, with their touchy feely approach to 95 year old women with leukemia, and the use of untested x-ray scanners. Additionally, we look back at the death of Ryan Dunn from Jackass – discuss the controversies surround the drunk driving that lead to his death; and ponder what the outcome may be of the upcoming Westboro Baptist Church protests at his funeral.

Part way through the show we check out some metal with our band of the week, Tartarus. Following the music, we examine why Best Buy seems to be going after everyone using the word “Geek”; we review Green Lantern and compare it with the recent release of Thor; and also discuss some of the recent news in the world of metal – looking into bands such as Symphony X, Lamb of God, Metallica, and so on.

All this and more on this week’s edition of Social Blend!

Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from cGt2099.com) and Jay Fowler (SilentJay74 from JuicySnake.com) the Social Blend is a fun, and hard-hitting, podcast, with no respect for rules.
