Social BlendSocial Blend Episode 169 kicks off with Mark Carras from RockMyMonkey.com and Terr Ciavarra aka Media Nox. We kick off the show with a brief discussion of the flop that was Hurricane Irene, at least by (unsurprisingly) mainstream media standards. We reveal the news on the show that George Lucas has indeed made further changes to the Star Wars saga, as fans prepare to be annoyed with the Blu-Ray release.

We also follow up with our coverage of the West Memphis Three from last episode, looking into what the guys are up to now and where things are headed. Meanwhile, we ponder the question of whether the new RAZER BLADE will not only revolutionize gaming PCs, but PC use itself. We also take a look at what the internet raged about this week: Gizmodo writer dates then dumps dude simply because he is a “nerd”.

We discuss the return of Doctor Who to the TV screen and take a look at an incredible story of an Australian man who has been dealing with brain damage, only to finally talk again after a ‘miracle’ with experimental medication. Finally, we dip into the mysteries surrounding Area 51 following a recent book review published at Geeks of Doom.
